The 13th GREEN Seminar

The 13th GREEN seminar was held in the 1st conference room of Central Building at Sengen site of NIMS on February 25th, 2011 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Dr. Tsukasa Hirayama, a deputy director and a senior chief researcher of Nanostructures Research Laboratory at the Japan Fine Ceramics center (JFCC) was invited as a guest speaker for this seminar and he gave a lecture titled "Advanced Transmission Electron Microscopy and Materials Science." After talking about some of the latest results on advanced microscopy such as visualization of lithium and hydrogen for an hour, he enthusiastically answered questions from 40 participants who attended his seminar.
