International round robin test for tensile testing of HTS wires at cryogenic temperatures
VAMAS-TWA16, chaired by Dr. Gen Nishijima （Group Leader, Electric and Electronic Materials Field, Superconducting System Group, Research Center for Functional Materials）, conducted an international round robin test on tensile testing of HTS wires at room temperature, which has resulted in the publication of the international standard IEC 61788-25.
In this paper, the results of the international round-robin tests of tensile tests at cryogenic temperatures, which were carried out in 2016-2017 mainly at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, are summarized and the uncertainties are analyzed.
