Fabrication of novel inorganic nanostructured materials and creation of new functions for electronics, energy and environmental applications

The Inorganic Nanostructured Materials Unit intends to fabricate a variety of inorganic nanoscaled materials such as nanotubes, nanowires, nanosheets and also atomic network materials such as clusters and 2D graphenes, and to investigate their atomic structures and properties. In particular, by utilizing chemical nanoarchitectonics technology like self-assembly, core-shell, composites of the nanostructured materials, new functionalized materials will be developed for electronics, energy and environmental applications.

The Unit consists of three Research Groups, 1) Inorganic Nanostructured Materials, 2) Semiconductor Nanomaterials, and 3) Atomic Network Materials.
