Conducting research and development of innovative materials & technology which enable efficient environmental remediation

Towards realization of a sustainable society, this research unit is conducting research and development of innovative materials & technology which enable efficient environmental remediation by removal or detoxification of hazardous substances from air, water, and soil. Innovative functions are expected to be created by converging different key materials technologies and theoretical/experimental study to surface and interface phenomena of environmental remediation materials.
