Post Doc positions available for the year 2009-11

Currently I am looking for young, talented and energetic researchers who can work as post docs in my group mainly in the fields of fuel cells, solar cells, catalysis, and biomass conversion.  

The successful applicants can start the work from April 1st 2009.

Fields of research: Mesoporous silica and carbon molecular sieves; mesoporous films; adsorption of biomolecules;                

enzymatic catalysis; acidic and basic catalysis; fuel cell applications; Solar cells; biodiesel

Duration of the fellowship: one or two years (However, strict evaluation will be done after the completion of fellow's one year contract. The extension of the fellowship to another one or two years will depend on the fellow's performance and research outputs.)

PhD Positions available with Hokkaido University

Highly talented students who have already completed their Master Course with excellent marks are encouraged to apply for the PhD position. The degree will be awarded by Hokkaido University. Students who got excellent marks in the Master Course and have excellent TOEFL or TOEIC score will be given preference.

Research Field: Nanoporous Materials, fuel cells, solar cells, catalysis, and biomass conversion.  

Successful candidates will be given ca. 200000 JPY as stipend.
