Dr. Kentaro TASHIROic@Yj


Dr. Kentaro Tashiro was born in 1972 and obtained Ph.D. in organic chemistry in 2000 under the direction of Professor Takuzo Aida at the University of Tokyo. He then began an academic career at the University of Tokyo as an assistant professor. From 2008, he has been the deputy head of reticular materials group at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS). Examples of his research interests are supramolecular chemistry of fullerenes, materials engineering of pi-conjugated molecules, chemistry of metal-metal interaction, and science of metal complex sequences.
