Rational Networking of Metal Complexes

Control of the sequence and orientation of building units in their assemblies is one of the most important issues in materials engineering. We are studying how to regulate the networked structures, typically composed of organic compounds and metal complexes. Our target is the rational design of anisotropic or low symmetric 1, 2, and 3D networks which otherwise are inaccessible via traditional methodologies.
