内容: 会議全体のプログラムは、下記Web-siteにて紹介。
会議全体プログラム

NIMSはUniversity of Washington （UW）と連携して共同研究拠点であるNIMS Overseas Operation Office を2008年4月に開設しました。また国際連携大学院プログラムを2008年12月に開始しております。 UWおよび関連研究機関との連携強化および人的交流を推進するため、UWのCenter for Nanotechnology （CNT）が開催するCNT conference（6月10日、11日開催）とジョイントしてUW/NIMS Forumを6月11日、12日に開催いたします。このForum開催により、事前参加登録者は300名近くなり、従来CNT conference参加者数が倍増いたしました。
NIMSからは、野田理事をはじめ13名の参加者が予定され、NIMSにおける活動を紹介することにより、NIMSとの共同研究、研究者・学生の交流を喚起することを目標とします。また、11日夕には、在シアトル日本総領事公邸において、総領事が会議参加者、在米国企業、商工会議所を招待し、相互の交流を図るため大規模なレセプションが開催されます。
