3rd International Symposium on SPM Standardization

You are cordially invited to participate in the 3rd International Symposium on SPM Standardization 2012 (SPM2012) which will be held at National Institute for Materials Science, Japan on March 1st and 2nd, 2012. The 1st International Symposium on SPM Standardization, SPM2008, was successfully held at Korean Agency for Technology and Standardization, Seoul, Korea on May 1st, 2008. The 2nd International Symposium on SPM Standardization was also successfully held at Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics (SINAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Shanghai, China on September 29, 2010. SPM 2012 aims at developing critical assessment of existing work and future directions in global standardization of SPM and pre-standardization research including systems, measurement and analysis technology. This symposium will bring together key researchers from every sector of academy, national institution, and industry in the SPM research field, with a special focus on standardization technology. The symposium will consist of invited talks by the active researchers on SPM standardization and quantification as well as a poster session.
