Coordination of nanonet

For that purpose, it has set up the Coordination Office, which coordinates activities of the 13 centers and promotes the establishment of domestic/international networks in collaboration with the Scientific Information Office and the International Affairs Office. As part of this networking activity, NIMS Center for Nanotechnology Network holds bilateral workshops between Japan and the US, Europe and other Asian countries and facilitate international human exchanges.

This all Japan nanotechnology portal site was created to help advance nanotechnology R&D and catalyze innovation for a target readership of researchers, research managers, and students interested in the area of nanotechnology. The bilingual website (Japanese/English) provides select nanotechnology information and serves as an information gateway to the 13 centers (26 organizations) of the Nanotechnology Network.

Edited by experts drawn from industry, academia and government, NJ Bulletin introduces activities of the 13 research centers (26 organizations) of the Nanotechnology Network. Also offered are updates on Japan's nanotechnology scene - R&D, policy and industrialization -, featured articles on leading researchers, and interviews of promising young researchers and staff members engaged in user support at our centers. Japanese and international (English) editions are published alternately every two months.
