We are pleased to announce that the 1st International Symposium for Nondestructive Reliability Evaluation will be held in 23th July 2009 at Tsukuba Science City.

Objective and Scope

Nondestructive evaluation (NDE), especially the residual life prediction and appropriate maintenance are key technologies for the research and development of the advanced materials and structures. Thus, the co-operation among the organizations in the fields of materials, structures, equipments and measurements is very important to realize the securer and safer society.
This symposium for Nondestructive Reliability Evaluation (NDRE) is organized regularly as a program of the collaborative research activities among the three organizations in Japan, the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). We invite domestic and international specialists to share and discuss the latest information and applications in the NDE field.
