This session focuses on growth, characterization and application of organic molecular layers. Main topics will be SPM studies on molecular assemblies, electronic states at heterogeneous interface, fundamentals on carrier transport through molecular layers, as well as applications such as OFET, OLED and OPV.

This session will focus on the recent progress of ultra-thin film technologies for fabrication of devices and systems. Applications, physical and chemical properties in graphene, nanosheets, and other two-dimensional materials will be discussed.

This session mainly focuses on state-of-the-art characterizing methods for nano-materials and nano-sheets. Fascinating and promising techniques, which employ structural and electronical evaluation, are also presented.
Atomic Layer Deposition Technology and its Application
Chair:
Dr. Toshihide NABATAME
This session covers all atomic layer deposition (ALD) technology including precursor development, characterization of metal materials and high-k insulators, and new deposition technique. Not only the ALD technology but all applications such as CMOS with III-V and Ge channels, device architectures of FinFET and nano-wires and ReRAM for advanced ULSIs are presented.

Advanced Fusion Materials : New Functionality by Cooperative Organic/Inorganic Compositions

This session focuses on design and synthesis of advanced fusion materials by organic/inorganic compositions which lead to new functionalities in chemical and physical properties.  A common keyword in this session is “cooperativity” essential for supramolecules and nanostructures.
