Variety of foods at affordable prices ($) can be found at the food court in the ground floor of Q’t mall (36.082068, 140.111275). In the first floor of this mall and inside the TX Tsukuba station there are Starbucks shops. Other restaurants can be found at the 1F and B1 floors of Dayz Town, the mall located beside the hotel that is connected to the conference venue.
Super markets
There are two supermarkets and several 24-hours open convenience stores around the conference venue:

There are several bars inside the Dayz Town mall, and in the back side of the Aoba ramen shop (36.077998, 140.114529) & (36.077968, 140.114641).

There is a music and cafe bar in the area called “Wood Stock” (36.077526, 140.115938) with an interesting and vast collection of vinyl records. You can try to ask for your favorite music!
Karaoke:

It is tradition in previous NC-AFM conferences organized in Japan to socialize after the scientific sessions at the Karaoke. Unfortunately, a nice Karaoke called “Mercado” closed recently, and now there is only one Karaoke near the conference venue: Karaoke “Rainbow”. This Karaoke is located at the B1 floor of the Dayz Town. To get a room, at least one of the participants needs to get a membership card of the Karaoke. You can get a membership card for free. It is recommended to be accompanied by a Japanese speaker.
