| Nanotechnology platform projects require the users to open their results related to platform use. You will be requested to submit a project report after facility use (or once a year). If you wish closed use, please contact our office. |
| 「Fee」 |
| We will ask you to pay the fee according to the amount of facility use. |
| 「Acknowledgement」 |
Nanotechnology platform project is supported by Japanese Government. Therefore please acknowledge when you publish your research.
Example;
This study was supported by NIMS Molecule & Material Synthesis Platform in "Nanotechnology Platform Project" operated by the Ministry of Education,Culture,Sports,Science and Technology(MEXT),Japan.

| When you publish your results, please let us know about it. |
| 「Share-use」 |
| The share-use is a category for users simply use the equipment. |
| 「Technical assistance」 |
| The facility staff will help users to manipulate the equipment. |
| Send mail to SML-office[at]nims.go.jp (change [at] to @). Facility staff will answer you. Or you can use「Inquiry」page if you can read Japanese. |
Register yourself as a user of the facility from「User registration」page.
If you have a NIMS ID, no need to register as a user. |
Submit your project proposal to our office.（SML-office at nims.go.jp）

| After your proposal is accepted, you can start using the facility. |
| Arrange your first visit to the facility with a staff to ensure you can recieve instructions. |
| At the end of fiscal year, support will be terminated. If you wish renewal, you have to submit another proposal for the new year. |
| Pay the fee according to the amount of facility use. |
