MANA Scientist Jin Kawakita Presents a Lecture for High School Students at Hikawa High School
On Thursday, June 25, MANA Scientist Jin Kawakita gave a lecture at "Lecture for Science and Technology" at the Hikawa High School, which has been assigned to one of Super Science High Schools (SSHs).
For fostering excellent human resources in science and technology, high schools assigned as Super Science High Schools (SSHs) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology in Japan (MEXT) work on special class lessons, collaborative studies with universities and/or research institutions and distinctive project studies of the area where the high school is located at. This lecture was also held as a part of SSHs activities.
Dr. Kawakita introduced most advanced material science in his lecture entitled "Material Research and Chemistry". The lecture met with a favorable reception from students.
