Dr. Kazuya Terabe, MANA PI and Dr. Masakazu Aono, Executive Advisor Win the Tsukuba Prize 2017

The Science and Technology Promotion Foundation of Ibaraki decided to award The Tsukuba Prize to Dr. Kazuya Terabe, MANA PI, Prof. Tsuyoshi Hasegawa, Waseda University, and Dr. Masakazu Aono, Executive Advisor of MANA in September, 2017.

The award was set up to encourage researchers who are involved in research on science and technology in Ibaraki prefecture, and to honor the researchers who have achieved significant research as well as creative research accomplishments.

As a result of the selection, their research, the invention and application of Atomic switches, has been highly evaluated as a research that deserves to receive the award.

The Award Ceremony will be held on November 21st, 2017 in International Congress Center in Tsukuba, Ibaraki.
