Katsumi Suzuki graduated Master degree of Electrical Engineering, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in 1975. He also graduated Dr. of Engineering, Graduate School of The School of Engineering Science, Osaka University, in 1991.
He joined Nippon Electric Corporation in 1975, and pursued on research and development of X-ray lithography technology. From 2001 to 2005, Dr. Suzuki was loan to SIRIJ (Semiconductor Industry Research Institute Japan) as an executive researcher, where he mainly worked on survey on future technologies, such as, next generation lithography, post-CMOS devices, nano-electronics technologies, etc. After retiring NEC Corporation in 2010, he joined NIMS (National Institute for Materials Science), and has been engaged in management at LC (Low-Carbon) Research Network Coordination Office, Hub Center for Low-Carbon Materials Design & Synthesis.
