Ms.Zhao, the head of International Cooperation Office, Institute for Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Science stayed ICYS/NIMS for one week from July 31st to August 4th 2006.
NIMS and IMR, CAS are sister institutes for materials research. She studied administration systems for researchers and students of NIMS/ICYS, especially affairs for non Japanese (foreigners).
Also she got information with Chinese researchers and technical staff(permanent staffs and fixed term staff) in NIMS by their experiences out of China.
In addition, she visited to JST in Tokyo, AIST International Center, Tsukuba city Sakura branch, Tsukuba Culture Association, Tsukuba International School and Tsukuba public primary school.
