Greeting

The Frontier Molecules Group (FMG) in WPI-MANA, NIMS was established in April 2016, and since April 2023, we have been in the second stage of the group at the Research Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA). In FMG, we develop novel functions and phenomena based on our original, unique molecules. We are mainly focused on research related to stimulus-responsive molecular materials, functional molecular liquids (FMLs), and sensor applications. In this group web page, we publish our latest information regarding research and others. If you are interested in us, please contact us. In addition, we are happy to take JSPS postdocs, Ph. D. students for Hokkaido University-NIMS Joint Graduate School Program, and internship students; thus, please inform us in advance if you are considering applying to them.
