The Lab studies the manifestation of new functions by single crystals and thin-film formation with ferroelectrics, aiming at improvement of the information and communication functions necessary in a ubiquitous society.

The focus of this Lab is nano-order observation and interface/defect control of semiconductors, optro-ceramics, and various magnetic substances and materials. The aim is to create various high performance materials, and develop devices and applications using those materials.
