Job Summary A post doc position for the fundamental research aimed for developing new type of heat current sensor using magnetic material. Main work is to fabricate magnetic thin films and characterize their magnetic properties, electric and heat transport properties and thermoelectric properties. Background on magnetic or thermoelectric materials is required. Experiences on thin film deposition, thermoelectric property measurements are desirable.
Qualification
Ph.D. in materials science, applied physics or physics
Starting Date April 2018 (negotiable)
Term one year (renewable up to 5 years with annual evaluation)
Work Place NIMS Sengen site (Tsukuba, Japan)
Work Hours 7 hours 45 minutes a day (negotiable as the flex-time system)
Holiday Saturday, Sunday and National Holidays
Salary / Supply according to NIMS regulations
