Functional Nanosheet Group

Specialized Research Field

Our group aims to create inorganic nanosheets with new functionalities and to develop novel electronic devices through controlled assembly and functional design. We will develop functional oxide nanosheets with tailored composition and structure, from which we can explore intriguing physical properties such as superconducting, high-k dielectric/ferroelectric, half-metallic, etc. We also utilize these nanosheets as a building block in the superlattice assembly, and attempt to develop innovative multifunctions in 2D nanoarchitectures through control over the cooperative interaction of organized components.
