Advanced Low-Dimensional Nanomaterials Group

We focus on the design and fabrication of functional structures, characterization of properties, and development for industrial and energy applications of low-dimensional nanomaterials including graphene, carbon nanotubes, boride, carbide, and oxide nanowires.

Specialized Research Field

Synthesis, assembly, characterization, and applications of nanostructures and devices based on one-dimensional nanomaterials. Key applications include carbon nanotube probes, supercapacitors, and next-generation field-emission point electron sources for electron microscopes:
  1. Synthesis and Characterization of Graphene, Carbon Nanotubes and Nanowires;
  2. Manipulation, Assembly, and Integration of 1D Nanostructures for Functional Device Applications
  3. Graphene and Carbon Nanotube-Based High Performance Energy-Storage Devices
  4. Nanostructured Next Generation Field-Emission Point Electron Sources for Electron Microscopes
