NIMS Issues New Data Sheets

—Six New Data Sheets Released, including Creep Strength Properties of Heat-Resistant Steels Subjected to Constant Load for over 100,000 Hours—

National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS)

The National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) released the following six data sheets on March 31, 2018.

Abstract

(1) Revised creep data sheets on heat-resistant steels for thermal power plants

“NIMS CREEP DATA SHEET No. 48B: Data sheets on 9Cr-0.5Mo-1.8W-V-Nb steel tubes for power boilers (ASME SA-213 / SA-213M Grade T92) and 9Cr-0.5Mo-1.8W-V-Nb steel pipes for high temperature service (ASME SA-335 / SA-335M Grade P92)”

“NIMS CREEP DATA SHEET No. 56A: Data sheets on 18Cr-9Ni-3Cu-Nb-N stainless steel tubes for power boilers (KA-SUS304J1 HTB)”

(2) Fatigue data sheets on stainless steels and aluminum alloys

“NIMS FATIGUE DATA SHEET No. 124: Data sheets on low- and high- cycle fatigue properties of SUS329J3L (22Cr-5Ni-3Mo) duplex stainless steels”

NIMS data sheets are frequently used as reference data and serve as standards for strength design and material selection in various fields.
