Abstract
On July 17, the National Institute for Materials Science (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Pref., President: Teruo Kishi), in cooperation with the University of Tsukuba (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Pref., President: Yoichi Iwasaki), will begin a course called “Introduction to Nano Fabrication and its Experience in Foundry Facilities” (1 credit) as part of the Masters program in Applied Physics, Graduate School of Pure and Applied Sciences, University of Tsukuba using the large-scale nanofoundry facilities at NIMS. This will be the first experiment in utilizing the large-scale nanofoundry facilities at NIMS in graduate school education.
