President Prof. LI Jiajun of Tianjin University visits NIMS.

October 14, 2011) 7 delegates from Tianjin University (TU), headed by President Prof. LI Jiajun, Executive Vice President Prof. Yang Xianjin, visited NIMS.
Discussion with President Prof. Ushioda
Tianjin University and NIMS concluded a contract on a joint research center, effective for 5 years on 29th September, 2011 and the "TU-NIMS Joint Research Center" was established in TU campus. President Prof. Li’s visit could be brought about by this new collaboration.
They had a talk with President Ushioda and NIMS executives, and then they visited laboratories both at Sengen and Namiki site and had presentations about the latest research and the utilization of facility at NIMS. They also toured new building now under construction, as well as its model rooms, which is scheduled to commence using next year, and listened intently to the explanation of new system and facility of the building.
