The Chairman of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Republic of Singapore visit NIMS
(May 13, 2008) Mr. LIM Chuan Poh, the Chairman of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Republic of Singapore visited NIMS.

Mr. LIM visited with Prof. CHONG Tow Chong, Executive Director of Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC), A*STAR, Dr. YEO You Huan, Head of International Division, SERC, A*STAR, and Mr. TAY Chor Shen, Senior Officer, SERC, A*STAR.
They met Prof. Teruo Kishi, the president of NIMS, Professor Masakazu Aono, Director General of MANA and Dr. Masaki Kitagawa the Vice President of NIMS. The delegation gave the introduction of research in Singapore; special point was on the new research center to be opened in October. In the introduction of NIMS and MANA and the lab tour followed, the Chairman had many smart questions especially in biomedical related fields.
