NIMS signs MOU with IMP of the Ural Division of Russian Academy of Science
(Aug.29,2007) The NIMS Computational Materials Science Center (CMSC) signed an MOU on research cooperation with the Institute of Metal Physics (IMP) of the Ural Division of Russian Academy of Science in Ekaterinburg. IMP is one of the central institutes of the condensed matter physics research in Russia. CMSC and IMP have collaborated for years in the fields of the electronic structure of condensed matter physics. Through this MOU, a closer and borader spectrum of cooperative research is expected.
