Dr. Jiang Mianheng, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Science, visited NIMS

    (June 6, 2007) Dr. Jiang Mianheng, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Science(CAS), visited NIMS together with Mr. Qiu Huashen, Deputy director of Bureau ofInternational Corporation, CAS and the presidents of 4 CAS institutes, Dr. Gu Yidong(Academy of Opto-Electronics), Dr. Zhu Jianqiang(Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics), Dr. Hong Maochun(Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter), Dr. Wu Jiarui(Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences).
     After meeting with Prof. T.Kishi, Dr.T.Noda, Dr.M.Kitagawa, and they visited Photocatalytic Materials Center, Nano System Functionality Center and Biomaterials Center as well as short visit to ICYS. They were also welcomed by a number of Chinese researchers at entrance of NIMS and the laboratory of Photocatalytic Materials Center.
