Cooperation Agreement with Metals Bank, Korea Institute of Materials Science
(May 10, 2007) — The NIMS Database Station signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on collaborative research in the field of materials database with the metals bank in the Korea Institute of Materials Science (KIMS; former Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials).

The national project of materials database in Korea aims to develop metal bank, ceramics bank and polymer bank. KIMS takes charge of the metals bank and works toward the construction of light metals database. NIMS and KIMS will cooperate in the mutual link of a material database, international conference on material database, and the standardization activities of material database.
