The Joint NIMS-UVa Workshop on Corrosion Science was held at UVa,
U.S.A. The joint workshop was organized based on an MOU between
UVa and NIMS. 8 corrosion-related researchers of NIMS belonging
to Structura lMetals Center, Materials Reliability Center, Innovative
Materials Engineering Laboratory, Composites and Coating Center
attended the workshop. Research activities of UVa and NIMS for atmospheric
corrosion, hydrogen embrittlement and localized corrosion were introduced
to each other to exchange knowledge, and future collaboration between
the institutions was discussed. |
