The delegation is from the region of Rhone-Alpes,
France; its capital is Lyon, the second-largest metropolitan area
in
France. The 13 members consisting of professors and managers of
universities and government in the region met Mr.T.Uehara, a vice
president of NIMS, and others, to present research and development
in
the region as well as to learn activity of NIMS. After a meeting
they
had laboratory tour of the Biomaterials Center, the Advanced Nano
Materials Lab., the Nanoscale Materials Center.
