MOU with the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Thailand

The Corrosion Group of the Materials Reliability
Center signed an MOU for research collaboration with the National
Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Thailand. MTEC was established
in 1986, and according to the establishment of NSTDA, METC was merged
into (became to belong to) NSTDA in 1991.
Dr. Paritud, President of MTEC, discussed with President Prof. Kishi about the science and technology policies and the future collaboration between the two institutes. The two institutes are planning to promote exchanges of researchers and research information and to carry out cooperative research beginning by the study of "The influence of environmental factors on metal corrosion".
