High Magnetic Field

High Magnetic Field facility with a concentrated lineup of world’s top level high-field

Tsukuba Magnet Laboratory (TML) at Sakura site is one of the largest high magnetic field facilities in the world. It was opened to the outside users since 1998.

TML

As shown in the list of the magnets below, various kinds of magnets are installed in TML. The hybrid magnet generates steady-state magnetic fields up to 35T. The 930 MHz NMR magnet can be used for solid state NMR measurements. The magnets are now used for scientific research in very wide areas by domestic/overseas researchers.
