Requirement

Applicant should (or is expected to) have a Ph.D. degree in the field of science or engineering. 

Photovoltaic Materials Unit is one of the leading centers for research in Dye Sensitized Solar Cell. We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher who will pursue experimental challenges focused on engineering of device structure along with understanding of their operation mechanisms. The work will involve a variety of chemical laboratory techniques for material synthesis (including general organic synthesis, e.g. ionic liquid), electrolyte processing, and device fabrication, as well as device characterization techniques and related photoelectrochemical properties. We especially welcome self-motivated individuals with strong backgrounds in science / engineering.

Project is part of a joint research collaboration with in international company, giving the candidate extensive exposure to and experience with research in an industrial environment.

Starting date 1 June 2011 (Negotiable)
Employment term 1 year(Possibly up to 3 years)
Work location National Institute for Materials Science(Tsukuba-ciry, Ibaraki)
Work hours 7 hours 45minute (08:30-17:15) a day (negotiable as the flex-time system).
Holiday Saturday, Sunday, and National Holidays
Salary & conditions Followed by NIMS regulations. Commuting allowance and national insurance are also included.
