Kind of work	Technical guidance to beamline users and research in advanced materials in the field of Hard X-ray Photoemission Spectroscopy or X-ray Diffraction at NIMS beamline of SPring-8, large synchrotron radiation facility. We are seeking an applicant highly motivated in advanced materials research.
Requirement	Applicant should (or is expected to) have a Ph.D. degree in related fields. Applicant should have knowledge and experimental experience on X-ray Photoemission Spectroscopy or/and X-ray Diffraction.
Starting date	1 November (negotiable)
Employment term	1 year (possibly renewable up to 3 years)
Work location	NIMS Beamline station at SPring-8 (Sayo, Hyogo)
Work hours	7 hours 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week
Salary & conditions	320,000jpy to 380,000jpy per month (also welfare, commuting allowance, and overtime payment)
