Atom probe analysis of Au/Cu-Ni junction on thermally oxidized Si substrate
M. Kodzuka
Atom probe analyses of Au/Cu-Ni junctions were done to get knowledge
about enhancement of peltier effect. The analysed junctions are
Au/Cu30Ni70 (Peltier coefficient: 50 mV) and Au/Cu46Ni54 (Peltier
coefficient: 480 mV).
Addtionally, the effect of thermally oxidized Si substrate thickness on
measurement performance was investigated.
High coercivity in NdFeB single layer films and realization of L10-ordered FePtAg-C granular films on (002) TiN textured underlayer
W. Cui
In the first part, by changing the Nd composition, NdFeB single layer films are prepared at different temperature. Magnetic properties and microstructure are investigated by SQUID-VSM and TEM. It is found that there are two different type of grains: columnar grains and rod-shape grains. The coercivity as high as 26.6 kOe can be obtained. In the second part, texture formation of TiN (002) are studies. The magnetic properties of FePtAg-C films deposited on different TiN (002) unde
rlayers are compared. The large coercivity of PtFeAg-C films is 13.1 kOe with average grain size of 11 nm.
