Data science group focus on theory and practice of materials informatics. We apply machine learning and artificial intelligence principles to build algorithms to find novel materials. Our interests include prediction algorithms of materials' properties by combining first-principles calculation and machine learning, and highly efficient crystal structure optimization algorithms. To use the algorithms in practice, we build software packages and share them with the other groups. We contribute to build techniques to discover functional materials from large scale databases. |
