Design of novel materials for the applications of high-performance permanent magnets and next-generation spintronic devices is targeted. Development and applications of the first-principles design techniques combined with informatics are the main themes. In particular, we conduct the developments of (1) high-throughput materials exploration methods, (2) materials optimization approaches by multi-scale analysis, and (3) materials informatics techniques.
