Research

Photovoltaic cells with lead halide compounds with perovskite structure as the light harvesting layer have been attracting attention due to their relatively high energy conversion efficiency despite their ease of fabrication.

We aim at understanding the photo-electronic properties unique to this class of materials in order to reach a guiding principle in application. The ionic chemical nature is emphasized while the physical characterization capacity of GREEN will be fully utilized.
