The 20th GREEN Open Seminar

The 20th GREEN Open seminar was held in the 1st Conference room of Central Building at Sengen site of NIMS on March 8, 2012 from 3:30PM to 5:00PM.

Prof. Itaru Honma, Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials, Tohoku University, was invited as a guest speaker for this seminar. The title of his lecture was “Materials and Nanotechnology of high energy density batteries for the next generation”, Past, Present, and Future of the lithium battery (Part 1), Application of Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology (Part 2). He talked about industry trends and research status of each country for lithium-ion battery, and the latest results and status of his research. After talking, he answered some questions from 35 general participants and NIMS researchers who attended his seminar.
