The 15th GREEN Open Seminar

The 15th GREEN Open seminar was held in the Large Seminar room of Collaborative Research Building at Namiki site of NIMS on June 24th, 2011 from 1:30PM to 3:00PM.

Prof. I-Wei Chen, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Pennsylvania was invited as a guest speaker for this seminar and he gave lectures titled “Electric Field Induced Microstructure Instability: Ionomigration, Electrosintering and Grain Growth” and ”A Size-dependent Nanoscale Metal-Insulator Transition in Random Materials”. After the talk, he enthusiastically answered questions from 20 participants who attended his seminar.
