The 10th ICNSEE Seminar

On the afternoon of Tuesday, November 16th, 2010, the 10th ICNSEE seminar was held, this time, in Large Seminar Room on the 4th floor of Collaborative Research Building in Namiki site.

Nearly 40 people showed up to listen to the presentations of our four new ICNSEE researchers: Dr. Satoshi TOMINAKA, Dr. Ayako HASHIMOTO, Dr. Yasuhiro SHIRAI, and Dr. Yoshimi KUBO. They all have differences in background and careers in their own research field, and each gave a lecture on his or her specialized research here at ICNSEE during the seminar. The themes were different and in wide variety, such as nanotechnology for electrochemical analyses, nanocharacterization techniques using confocal electron microscopy, nanostructured organic materials, and carbon nanomaterials. The discussion evolved into possible applications to environmental technology such as fuel cells and other devices.
